That is the question I am forced to ask myself after going to the eye doctor this week. I have been having some eye strain and I knew the culprit was both poor lighting and my new obsession...my Nexus. I received my Nexus tablet for my birthday which was a pretty great gift except that I knew I was getting it and that always makes a surprise gift better (to me at least). The best gift I ever got from my husband was last year's Christmas present when he surprised me completely by getting me a Kindle. I was trying to decide if I wanted to get an e-reader because I am such a book lover. I love the texture and smell and ambiance of a book in my hands. But then I fell completely head over heels in love with my Kindle. I borrowed books on my Kindle from my local library system and even got a NYC library card-very cool since I live way far away from the city. So, I surprised myself even when I fell even deeper in love with my Nexus just a mere 8 months after getting my Kindle.
How can I be such a fickle e-book lover? Alas, I am torn. I love the ease and convenience of having everything from e-mail to Words with Friends to the Kindle App right at my fingertips on the Nexus but noticeable eye strain is not something I am willing to accept. So even though I love the laziness factor of the Nexus, I think I have to go back to complete book reading on my Kindle. Oh and I also need a new lamp for my bedroom. Any suggestions?
